I Have Been Told To Take Spironolactone Every Other Day

I have been told to take Spironolactone every other day by the Endrocrologist, buy my heart doctor has prescribed Spironolactone 25 mg. each day. My blood work came back as me having hi potassium. Do I need to contact my heart Doctor before I start taking Spironolactone every other day?
