I Have Been Told (today) That A CT Showed Thickening

I have been told (today) that a CT showed thickening of the intestine and MRE is in order. What does thickening of the intestine mean and should I be concerned? I have extreme pain on the left side of the abdomen between ribcage and hip bone and have hx of anal cancer s/p 3 years ff chemo and rad.


Please cancel....I just paid a fortune for a GI to not answer my questions...no more...
