I Have Been Trying To Decide Upon 2nd Opinion Etc.

I have been trying to decide upon 2nd opinion etc. I was in an accident (tree fell on my, head hard hat saved me) I had concussion (no memory for 5 hrs.) c-6 & C-7 process fracture bone contusion in ankle and other areas in my spine hurts still. I have had my hard collar off for 9 days now, my main concern is I can't turn my head very far to the left or right or look up very far without pain; they said the fractures are stable .The space on c-7 at the top of the fracture is about 1/2-3/4" gap from my spine,the bottom is about an 1/8"gap. that piece is about 1 1/2 " long that is broke free .is this something that probably should be removed ?
