I Have Been Trying To Get Information On Mildly Prominant
I have been trying to get information on Mildly prominant basilar markings causes and treatment.
My friend became very ill. She is 87 years old and first treated with 250 mg of arithromyacin. She started improving slowly, but the occassional cough was still there. The fever went down and she was able to eat, etc. but chest exrays showed mildly prominant basilar markings. She definitely had crackling in one lung initially. Can you shed some light on this problem. If it was old scar tissue or a form of copd, would that cause severe illness in a very healthy woman and would it respond to antibiotics.
