I Have .been Using Ciloxan Eye Drops For 18 Days

I have .been using ciloxan eye drops for 18 days one drop 4 times a day. I have asthma and also take seretide twice daily. I have recently had a sore throat and ear ache also a troublesome cough getting worse at night.I have been given prednisolone for 1 week because of the cough. I did not see my doctor only spoke briefly over the phone . Iwasnt asked about any medication other than my asthma. I have just started the prednisolone today and I have to continue with the drops for 28 days.Is this safe to do so.
