I Have Been Using Oral Contraceptive Pills Named Femilon For

I have been using oral contraceptive pills named Femilon for the last 6-7 months. After my last period I again started taking Femilon pills but again started having periods after 18 days of my last periods and the bleeding is going on for the last 8 days with occasional minor pain in my lower abdomen.My doctor have prescribed Siocare syrup for 2 days twice a day and if the bleeding doesn't stop than to take Ovral-L tablets for 21 days. Is there anything serious as I am feeling weak and I am in great tension. Please suggest what should I do?
