I Have Been Using Since 12/08/16, Going Back To Dr.

I have been using since 12/08/16, going back to dr. every two weeks. last appointment 12/28 he advised two more weeks of treatment, I go back 01/11 but after going back to work today after 2 weeks off I am experiencing extreme discomfort on my face. is this normal, should I call my dr. tomorrow or just endure for another week.
