I Have Been Using The Climate Patch For Not Quite

I have been using the climate patch for not quite a year, I am 62, had a hysterectomy many years ago. My doctor ordered the patch at my request for some night time hot flashes, nothing horrible, pesky would be more like it. I have been reading some research and am considering stopping the patch, would like to know how best to go off this medication ?
