I Have Big Chunks Of Skin In My Outer Ear

I have big chunks of skin in my outer ear it so crustified and hard, i went to the dermatologist 3 times and he gave me steroid creme, and it did not work! It is getting worse everyday. My ear is so swollen, red and purple i do not know what to do. I have an appointment with a ear, throat and nose specialist this wed.
