I Have Bipolar Disorder. I Am Taking Several Medications It,

I have bipolar disorder. I am taking several medications it, one of which is Effexor XR. I just took 200 mg of 5-htp and am now feeling very ill. I looked up interactions with 5-htp, albeit a little late, and it said effexor and 5-htp can cause serotonin syndrome which can be fatal. Is this true? I'm nauseated, shaky, with diarrhea and feeling extremely sleepy and somewhat disoriented.

Help, please.
