I Have "biting" Pains In My Knuckles, Shooting And Aching

I have "biting" pains in my knuckles, shooting and aching pains in my wrists, my feet swell and ache on the bottom similar to the wrist pain. Also, my left shoulder aches as well. This has started 4 weeks ago with just the hands, my MD prescribed Meloxicam 15mg once a day. It took the edge off for about a week but the pain is worse and I take 4 Ibuprofin a day to get through. Any thoughts?
