I Have Bleeding From My Rectum That Occurred Twice Last

I have bleeding from my rectum that occurred twice last night after going to the bathroom flowing for a half an hr like a womans period. Blood was bright red and I also have a purple blotchy discoloration around the ankle of my right foot. I am a heavy smoker and consume 2 cases of beer a week.
