I Have Cervical Neck Problems. I Was In A Car

I have cervical neck problems. I was in a car accident in April and had a concussion and whiplash. I have received trigger point injections about 5 times in a year and half but I went to my primary doctor today because I had a lump on the right side of my neck like I had an infection. I thought possibly sinus infection. however, she seen me and I have several of the symptoms of Cushing Syndrome. My question is can a traumatic injury also cause this syndrome?
