I have chronic acid reflux a loose gi sphincter and a small hiatial hernia. My husband has had to wake me up because I sound like I am drowning in my sleep. I regurgitated some of the fluid but what is usually thin very burning liquid was highly streaked with brown and in a clear mucus none of the brown tasted like a penny that blood feeling colored my hand or the sink or toilet there was a lot. Is my gerd worsened is this a new symptom of something else? No I do not smoke
