I Have Chronic Enlarged Foliate Papilla On Left Side. I

I have chronic enlarged foliate papilla on left side. I have dipped tobacco for years but don't dip on that side anymore. No pain but its still there. My dentist and oral surgeon have both looked at it and don't think its cancer. It still doesnt go away. Had it for a few years now. Will it turn into cancer?
