I Have Chronic Hepertitis C, And I've Been Taking Verapamil

I have chronic hepertitis c, and i've been taking verapamil 240 mg about for 10 years. Two months ago am diagnosed stage II kidney disease and multiple myeloma. A month ago i start taking irbesartan,300 mg together with verapamil . It deosn!t look irbersatan is working well in lowering b /p as expected ( i hoped i could replace verapamil if irbesartan lower b/p) . Verapamil still working well to lower b/p but i have to find alternative of verapamil since this one is no good for me who has kidney diaease,cancer and hepertitis c. What would be the best medicine you could recommand ? Thank you
