I Have Chronic Knee Pain Which Is Being Looked At

I have chronic knee pain which is being looked at by a few doctors waiting for mri appt. i was prescribed celebrex, but it seems to have no affect on my discomfort and pain with basic daily tasks. I had minor surgery on my finger last year and was prescribed percocet for the pain and I noticed it helped my knee pain at the same time making everyday tasks much easier. Unfortunatly it was a small prescription and I have been living with the pain for almost a year again. I am self employed and cannot afford to take time off in the near future if I require surgery (tbd). Its affecting my sleeping due to the pain and discomfort, and I was wondering if this could be as simple as a refillable prescription for 5/325 percocet or a low dose of oxycodone until I can plan for time off to have the knee repaired.
