I Have Cirrohsis From Alcohol Abuse And Have Had And

I have cirrohsis from alcohol abuse and have had and may still have hepatic encelophey (sp?). I have not had any alcohol for over a year and am heavy into AA. I just saw the TV special on Lou Reed's death and he was taking interferon and some other drug earlier in his is drug year - I think something like hyprozine?? some type of downer. Do you know what drug that is and does that hurt your liver, as well?
