I Have Colostomy From 2004 - Because A Big Bliding

I have colostomy from 2004 - because a big bliding ulcer in my rectom after radiation therapy for a uterin cancer. And had "pooped' a mucus from the rectom (I's closed permanently, but i have it) just once in a week even less. And lately, I need to go to restroom for this reason some times even twice a day. Other ways i feel fine. Is it normal?
