I Have Confirmed Blocked Upper And Lower Tear Ducts In

I have confirmed blocked upper and lower tear ducts in one eye, I am awaiting an hospital appointment after failed syringing at my doctors surgery by an ophthalmologist as I could not tolerate the feeling. I have been told it could take up to 13 weeks to be seen but I go on holiday in 8 weeks. Is there anything I can do to unblock it myself as the symptoms are really getting me down. My eye is sore and skin splitting from constant wiping. Thanks in advance
