I have connective tissue disease of an unknown origin, my symptoms are torn tendons, heavy scarring, and tissue that does not heal. I also have severe arthritis in my hands, feet, hips, wrists, neck, and shoulders. My dr has suggested cortisone injections for the arthritis, however, the rhuematologist I was seeing at Mass General in Boston told me to never have cortisone injections as it could worsen the connective tissue disease.
