I Have Constant Numbness In My Thumb, Pointer Finger, Middle

I have constant numbness in my thumb, pointer finger, middle finger and ring finger in both hands. When i go to my chiropractor, he says that I my ribs that are out, therefore he uses an "adjuster"(?, not sure if that is the correct name for this tool! It is a "pongo stick" looking tool that "jolts" them back into place, using adjustable "preasure/weight"). What are some of the reasons for this problem? The neck specialist that I have been in therapy, in the past (within the last year) says tha I have a hurniated disc in my neck. Can that be a lso an added factor to my symtoms? I am extremely limited to what I can do, using my hands, and have constant pain and wake up most mornings with excruciating pain in my arms and pain along with complete numbness in my hands. After loosing my business in January, I have been on unemployment, but I really don't know that I can hold down a job because things sometimes fall out of my hands/fingers because I can't feel whether it's not there anymore, until it is on the floor! I am also conserned with permanent nerve damage! I would greatly appreciate any help!
