I Have Cough And Am Taking 10ml Ascoril Syrup Every

I have cough and am taking 10ml Ascoril syrup every six hours but this is not helping me in sleep. I can lay down for 1 hr then I wake up with a cough then hard to get back to sleep. I use CPAP for the past 10 years and I never had a problem sleeping. I had flue for the 3 days, now i have 99.3 temp. I do not have BP and at present it is 135/87.
