I Have Cuts Or Lesions On My Vulva. It Is

I have cuts or lesions on my vulva. It is all very red and itchy. When I urinate the urine burns the cuts so bad. I have seen the doctor twice and each time he gave me two different kinds of steroid creams. I no longer use the first one, only the second one. He wants to see me June. I don't know if I can wait that long. Can you tell my why this is happening? I have changed soaps, I only have one sex partner. I am so irritated with this whole issue.
