I Have Deep Stabbing Pains In My Vagina, I Have

I have deep stabbing pains in my vagina, i have had a pap test recently, came back clean. But it hurts to put a tampon in at times and it hurts sometimes durring bedroom activities....i've searched many sites i am not sure but i am certain that it is NOT an STD or STI. Id rather know a little bit of info before i run to see my dr and waste a days pay for nothing.
My period is late and i am taking birth control.
