I Have Degenerative Disc Disease Which Has Caused Compression Fractures.

I have degenerative disc disease which has caused compression fractures. Tranadol has worked effectively for the pain, but the disease is degenerative and the tramadol now simply takes the edge off the pain. I do the exercises that I,ve been shown and use my heating pad and cold packs, but is there anything else that you could suggest to help the pain that never goes away?
