I Have Derealization/depersonalization And Since Two Weeks I'm Taking Lorazepam

I have derealization/depersonalization and since two weeks I'm taking lorazepam prescripted by my psychiatrist. The dr/dp has improved a lot with the medication but yesterday I forgot th pill and today was much worse than before I started with the medication. I still have another week until my next psychiatrist appointment and I'm wondering if I should keep taking the medication as I'm afraid it is rapidly making my condition worse on the long term.
