I Have Developed About 8 Dry Circular Patches Of Skin

I have developed about 8 dry circular patches of skin in random places on my body within the past few months. Here recently, I have noticed a new patch almost every other week. They rarely itch, but the rough texture and dry/ashy appearance does not go away with moisturizer. I have even tried Eczema relief lotion because that's what I thought it was but that does not help either. How do I get rid of these patches and prevent more?
