I Have Diagnosed With Hypertension About 3 Months Ago. Cardiologist

I have diagnosed with hypertension about 3 months ago. Cardiologist had done eco test, stress test, CT angiograpghy and heart ultrasound but all reports were normal.

Almost every other day my BP is around 220-210 / 145-120 i was given concor 2.5 mg to take one tablet at night and one in the morning but still my BP is around 150-140 / 100-90. My pulse is most of the time is high about 100 or 110.

I am 33 years old can i ask my doctor to change my medicine to Norvesc 5 mg? Is it ok?

Please advise.
