I Have Difficulty Taking Narcotic Pain Meds. I Suffer From

I have difficulty taking narcotic pain meds. I suffer from Interstitial Cystitis and the pain is incredibly uncomfortable at times. I take the generic of Pyridium now 2 xs daily. I am troubled that the drug (Tramadol) the Urologist wants to give me to try and get the pain under control is a narcotic as I have difficulty taking anything opoid i nature.

Do you think I might possibly take an additional drug (anti-nausea) to see if I can get some relief from this unfortunate disorder that has no known cause and no known cure.
