I Have Diverticulitis And Having Pain On My Left Side

I have diverticulitis and having pain on my left side and lower abdomen. What time of antibiotics are prescribed for this? I was in the hosp last time with high fever and given meds in my IV. This is the 2nd day and really don't want to go again unless I get a fever. Any advice on what I can do. Also, have had blood in stools.
