I Have Diverticulitis They Found A Hole In My Lower

I have diverticulitis they found a hole in my lower intestine and have had 1 week in the hospital . I was sent home with strict diet and have been off work for 5 weeks . I am still very fatigued and was wondering how long will I feel like this . want to get back to work and I am worried I will not be my strong self anymore I work in heavy construction work am 50yrs old. when will I feel my energy return?
