I Have Dreadful Pain On My Right Side Below My

I have dreadful pain on my right side below my shoulder blade and around to my front. I had my gallbladder out a week ago. Had this pain before then and now it is like a knife turning clear through me. They said my appendix was okay. Took a biopsie of my liver which is not back yet. Any ideas for cause of this pain?
