I Have Eaten A Flue Medicine In The Previous Night

I have eaten a flue medicine in the previous night and since I did not moisten my throat before swallowing, it somehow got stuck in either my trachea or esophagus. When I tried eating solid food to try and bring the medicine down together into the stomach, it was to no avail. Now this morning, I could still feel that medicine stuck in my throat. I guess it could have gotten stuck midway in my trachea. What should I do to get rid of it? I have sore throat as well at the moment because of a virus so I am scared that the stucked medicine would worsen my condition.
