I Have Edema In My Hands And Feet. I Have

I have edema in my hands and feet. I have been taking 40 mg of lasix for quite awhile and it worked. Then suddenly it quit working. My dr has me on 80 mg of lasix and I still have some edema in my hands. My dr said it may take time, but its been 3 weeks. What do you suggest I do?
