I Have Endometriosis But I Have Been Having Irregular Periods.

I have endometriosis but I have been having irregular periods. My periods for the last few months have lasted for 7 days but then I only have 10 to 14 days before I start again. Could this be from endometriosis? What should I do? Should I be checked out? And I should also mention I only have one overy having had the right removed and I'm 36 yrs old
