I Have Experienced A Slight Irritation When Urinating The Past

I have experienced a slight irritation when urinating the past 2 days. The stinging is directly located at the opening of my penis and feels like there may be a sore spot beneath the white scar tissue looking skin that resembles a 3/4 closed garage door leaving 1/4 open for urine flow. I have considered soaking the tip in hydrogen peroxide in case of an infection, but wanted to get some clarity. Especially if this is a fairly common occurance for men.
