I Have Experienced Pain From Between My Thumb And Forefinger

I have experienced pain from between my thumb and forefinger to my armpit. It was painful and started over again a 2nd time - doing the same thing. Has happened once before the day before. I have heart problems as well as arthritis. Blood pressure was good when taken afterwards 2nd time. I was seated at the time of each occurrence. Any ideas?
