I Have Extra Bone Growth In My Gums. I Have

I have extra bone growth in my gums. I have some on the upper left and right side of my gums and another very big one on the gum underneath my tongue so you can't see thst one unless i show it to someone but it's growing on each side and it bothers me when i bite down on something hard like an apple or something. They never hurt or get sorr i just can't stand those extra bones in my gums!:( I just had a deep cleaning 2 weeks ag so no gum disease or anything like that but they referred me to an oral surgeon so my question really is should i have someone to cut out the bones or will that cause serious problems that i don't even have with my gums other than i can see the top part some when i smile big.
