I Have Felt Run Down And Drained For Two Weeks

I have felt run down and drained for two weeks now. Both my fiancée and I have the same symptoms. It started as a sore throats stuffy noses. Two weeks ago. This week we were in bed for three days with hot cold flashes, sweats, and no energy. Is there a bug going around like this or should we go to the dr and get checked.
