I Have Fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease In My Neck Mid

I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in my neck mid and lower back and osteoarthritis. I have severe pain in the joints of both of my hands. My Rumatologist said that it must me the Fibro in my hands as nothing showed up on the X-rays of my hands. I don't understand because Fibro is the inflammation of the nerve endings not joint pain. Can you help?
