I Have Fluid In My Middle Ear From A Cold

I have fluid in my middle ear from a cold and have been sick on and off since early dec. I have nausea waking in the morning but no ear infection so my dr. gave me meclizine for vertigo and nausea, but my ear is plugged and painful, will the calritin-d 12hr help. but when I lay my head down to sleep at night, in the morning I'm nauseated. just want to get rid of the fluid in the middle ear.
