I Have Frequent Muscle Cramps. I Seem To Be Able

I have frequent muscle cramps. I seem to be able to keep them at bay by taking vinegar, magnesium, and drinking bouillon each day. If they come on anyway, I add taking tonic water to settle them. All very weird. If I do not treat them in this way, they can be horribly painful, day or night attacks. On days I exercise or on days I don't. I am a 73 year old female who is generally healthy for my age.
