I Have Given My 9week Old Border Collie Half A

I have given my 9week old border collie half a pigs ear which she enjoyed. I then began reading about the terrible effects it may have on the gut system.
Can you tell me if this will cause an intestinal problem approx how long after ingestion would these problems show up?
