I Have Got Periods...late By 15 Days From Actual Date...but

I have got periods...late by 15 days from actual date...but there is heavy bleeding...for eight days..after that it stopped but again after few days..bleeding started..I have started ayurvedic tablet.raktastambhak .but no efffect.can I start regestrone to make my cycle regular...
