I Have Gotten Some Pretty Bad Charlie Horses Over The

I have gotten some pretty bad Charlie horses over the years but the other day I had two at the same time in both my inner thighs that were probably the most painful of any I've ever over the past 20 years. It took a very long time for the pain to subside.
two days after this incident my left inner thigh was still si=ore and has now turned black & blue which I can't ever remember happening following other Charlie horses I have had. Is it possible to actual bruise from a Charlie horse and how uncommon is this?
