I Have Guttate Psoriasis And Have Been Using Clobetasol And

I have guttate psoriasis and have been using clobetasol and a vitamin D ointment, the name of which escapes me. The psoriasis has cleared but what is left are purplish marks where the psoriasis once was. Can you explain why this has happened and when should they clear.
