I Have Had 3 Tick Bites In 3 Years. The

I have had 3 tick bites in 3 years. The ticks were removed and no symptoms of Lyme disease. After the second and third bites had healed, several weeks later the bite site itched and swelled like an insect bite. This comes and goes every few weeks. I ended up having each spot removed by my doctor and there was no problem after that. It's was like a small piece of the tick had still been in my skin and was reacting. Now when ever I get an insect bite the spot will seem to heal and then start itching and swelling weeks later and they never seem to go away. Is this an allergic reaction and what can I do. It is recurring.
