I Have Had CHP And An Enlarged Heart. I Am

I have had CHP and an enlarged heart. I am 68 and am 5'5 and weigh around 170. I was told that I need to stay away from heat and extreme cold I have trouble breathing once the temp in my room gets to be 81.
BUt I need to know why I was told I cannot fly in an airplane?
