I Have Had Paraguard For A While Now And The

I have had Paraguard for a while now and the doc inserted it to where the string was hanging inside of my vagina (about 1 to 2 inches. I checked today and now the strings are hanging so low I can feel them at the meatus of my vagina. Does this require immediate attention?
